President of the Po Delta Park

Aida Morelli

Aida Morelli is among the founding members of ARCLAB associated architecture studio, established in November 1993 in Ravenna.

Graduated in Architecture at IUAV in Venice, she has had several work experiences among which the most valuable were with Carlo and Aldo Aymonino, Costantino Dardi, Ludovico Quaroni. She has worked in environmental associations both locally and nationally, developing a substantial experience in environmental protection projects and training of protected areas.

It deals with improving the overall quality of the living environment, with the aim of disseminating innovative educational visions for the respect of nature.

In addition to urban parks, protected natural areas and play areas, it deals with cities and public meeting places, tourism, urban planning, restoration and school buildings.

“Men build cities and cities build us” These are words expressed by Winston Churchill at a time when entire cities had to be rebuilt after war damage.

In short, the environment and architecture have fundamental influences in forming our identity, our thoughts and our emotions. Every time you want to give shape and substance to an idea, a dream, whether it is a life dream (a house) or entrepreneurial dream (a company) or social dream (a meeting place, a park, etc.) this action is of great weight and responsibility because it falls on the entire community. It certainly presupposes technical but above all emotional involvement: knowing how to guide, advise, involve, finalize is a technical but also emotional process. Designing the space in one way or another makes the difference.

To be graduates in architecture is equivalent to having the availability of a toolbox, but to produce something sensible and organic to the community it is necessary to add to the tools the head, the heart and the hands, because man is the living being who, more than any other, can modify the environment to adapt it to his own purposes.

Among her activities, Aida Morelli is currently President of the Po Delta Park of the Emilia Romagna Region.

Journalist

Christian Meoni

Director of the Events Area of the SAE Group
Born in Prato on September 8, 1968, a journalist since 1989, he grew up in Tirreno where he held all the positions until becoming deputy editor. At 24, he directed the provincial pages of the Prato edition and invented a successful format such as “Cercalavoro”, an insert dedicated to the meeting between job supply and demand. Having moved to the central editorial office in Livorno in 2006, he was the author of campaigns such as the one that in 2007 uncovered the corruption at the Livorno port. He was sent abroad to report on the production delocalization of Tuscan companies, but also to follow delicate cases such as that of the two little sisters from Livorno who were kidnapped and taken to Tunisia by their father. After taking on the responsibility of the regional pages of the newspaper, in 2017 he founded “Toscana Economia”, the economic monthly of Tirreno. In 2022 he created “Scuola2030”, a Pcto (formerly school-work alternation) project of Tirreno that involved dozens of schools throughout the region, with two thousand students engaged in orientation activities, and “Tirreno Blu”, a summer paper insert dedicated to the sustainability of the sea. Appointed director of Gazzetta di Modena, Gazzetta di Reggio and La Nuova Ferrara in July 2023, he exported the “Scuola 2030” project to Emilia and launched numerous new initiatives. Among these “Lidi Blu”, which follows “Tirreno Blu”, and “Appennino Green”, the equivalent set in the mountains of Reggio Emilia and Modena, a project to enhance and rediscover the Emilian Apennines. Before leaving the direction of the three Emilian “gazzettes”, he launched “Campioni!”, a weekly insert focused on the social value of sport. In his new role as Director of Major Events for the Sae group, he will be responsible for the planning and coordination of all events and related initiatives on the national territory and specifically in Sardinia, Tuscany and Emilia Romagna on behalf of the six newspapers.
